Trevon: A Second Chance After 26 Years

After serving more than 26 years in prison, Trevon Olds began preparing for the opportunity to return home and rebuild his life. Justice for Injustice stood beside him throughout the parole process, providing support, preparation, encouragement, and advocacy while helping him focus on a successful transition back into the community.

On October 29, 2025, Trevon appeared before the Virginia Parole Board and was granted parole. On January 29, 2026, he finally walked out of prison and returned home.

Today, Trevon is adjusting to life after incarceration, reconnecting with family, and building a future centered on stability, responsibility, and purpose. His journey is a reminder that rehabilitation is real, second chances matter, and returning home is only the beginning of a new chapter.

Elena: family reunited and a clean slate

Elena faced overwhelming barriers when preparing for release without family guidance. Justice for Injustice provided clemency support, transitional housing referrals, and steady mentorship throughout her journey. Now employed full-time at a local health clinic, Elena spends her weekends supporting her children's education and volunteering to uplift women walking the same path toward renewal.

David: turning adversity into advocacy

David spent years seeking fair clemency review. Our team stepped in to organize legal resources, craft an individualized reentry roadmap, and advocate before the board. Since returning home, David has launched his own small landscaping business and partners with community education initiatives to inspire young adults, proving that every life has enduring value.
